Having spent the night, comfortably at anchor in a bay on the south side of Bigge Island, we thought we’d make an early start and head up the west coast. The goal was to get to Wary Bay to see some of the good rock art there.
The problem was the current was not as expected, and it made it pretty slow going. The wind didn’t play ball either - so it was a very frustrating morning. That said, we arrived and anchored at Wary Bay. Another catamaran was already there and they were headed ashore. We weren’t far behind them.
The rock art was very good - well worth the stop.

Not sure if this second one is a manta ray, or a whale or something else?

And as for the 2 men with headdresses and pipes - maybe Europeans?

From Wary Bay, we continued up and over the top of Bigge Island and headed to Proudhoe Island and the appropriately named Shelter Bay. Its protected on almost all sides, and totally flat inside. The downside is there’s very little breeze and its very hot. If only we could swim!
